Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota is the state-level nodal agency appointed by the Government of Rajasthan for conducting the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) and facilitating the centralized admission process for B.Ed. institutions across the state. Rajasthan PTET Counselling 2026 – Overview

Following the declaration of results on June 25, 2026, VMOU Kota has officially released the comprehensive schedule for the Rajasthan PTET Counselling 2026. Candidates who have qualified the entrance examination are now eligible to participate in the online counselling process for admission into the 2-Year B.Ed. program and the 4-Year Integrated B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. programs. The online registration and fee payment window commenced on 04 July 2026 and will remain open until 15 July 2026. Additionally, the vital college choice filling phase is active from 06 July to 16 July 2026. Candidates must deposit an initial counselling registration fee of ₹5,000 to be considered for the first round of seat allotment, which is scheduled to be published on 21 July 2026.

Rajasthan PTET Counselling Schedule 2026 – Important Dates

Candidates must strictly adhere to the following timelines to ensure successful participation in the seat allotment process.

Note: Payments can be made securely online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or through authorized E-Mitra centers. A partial refund of the ₹5,000 registration fee is applicable as per university norms if a candidate is not allotted a seat or chooses not to take admission.

Documents Required for Physical Reporting & Verification

Once a college is allotted, candidates must physically report to the respective institution along with their original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies:

• PTET 2026 Exam Scorecard / Result Copy.
• PTET Counselling Seat Allotment Letter.
• Payment Receipts (for both ₹5,000 and ₹22,000 fee deposits).
• Class 10th Marksheet and Certificate (for Date of Birth proof).
• Class 12th Marksheet and Certificate.
• Graduation / Post-Graduation Marksheets (for 2-Year B.Ed. candidates).
• Valid Domicile Certificate (Mool Niwas) of Rajasthan.
• Valid Caste/Category Certificate (OBC/EWS/SC/ST/MBC) if claiming reservation benefits.
• Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, etc.).
• Recent passport-sized color photographs.

How to Register for PTET Counselling & Fill College Choices 2026

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to the authorized VMOU PTET web address at ptetvmoukota2026.in.
2. Select Your Course: On the homepage, click on the button corresponding to your program: "Click Here for B.Ed 2-Year Course" or "Click Here for B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. 4-Year Course".
3. Register for Counselling: Click on the "Register for Counselling" link. Enter your PTET Roll Number, Counselling ID (available on your scorecard), Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth.
4. Pay Registration Fee: Complete the payment of ₹5,000 using online methods or E-Mitra and save the transaction receipt.
5. Fill College Choices: Navigate to the "Fill College Choices" section. A list of participating B.Ed. colleges will appear. Select and arrange your preferred colleges in descending order of priority. Provide as many options as possible to secure an allotment.
6. Lock Choices: After carefully reviewing your preferences, lock your choices before the deadline (16 July 2026). Take a final printout of your locked choice list for future reference.
