The admit card is a mandatory document. Follow these steps to securely download your hall ticket from the official admission portal:

Bihar DCECE 2026 – What Appearing Candidates Should Know
The DCECE is an offline, pen-and-paper OMR-based examination. For the Polytechnic Engineering (PE) group, the test duration is 2 hours and 15 minutes, comprising 90 multiple-choice questions (30 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) totaling 450 marks. Importantly, there is no negative marking in the DCECE examination, allowing candidates to attempt all questions safely.
For the Paramedical (PM) and Paramedical Matric (PMM) groups, the exam also features 90 questions for 450 marks, but the subject breakdown differs. It includes General Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Numerical Ability, Hindi, English, and General Knowledge. Candidates must use only a blue or black ballpoint pen to darken the circles on their OMR sheets.
On the day of the exam, candidates must carry their printed admit card, a valid original photo ID (like an Aadhaar card or School ID), and at least two passport-size photographs (identical to the one uploaded during registration). Entry to the examination center will be strictly closed 10 minutes before the commencement of the exam. Electronic devices, smartwatches, and study materials are strictly prohibited.
