Under the Agnipath scheme, candidates receive a customized monthly package that increases annually, alongside a substantial corpus fund upon exit.
An Agniveer's customized package is ₹30,000 in the first year, upgrading sequentially to ₹40,000 in the fourth year. Every month, 30% of the salary is deducted as a contribution to the Agniveer Corpus Fund, which the government matches equally. Upon completion of the 4-year tenure, the candidate receives approximately ₹11.71 Lakhs as a tax-free Seva Nidhi package.
