Kerala SET 2026 – What Appearing Candidates Should Know

The Kerala SET 2026 evaluates teaching aspirants across two comprehensive offline OMR-based papers. Paper I is mandatory for all candidates and covers General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude. Paper II tests the candidate's proficiency in their specific postgraduate subject (offered in 31 different specializations). Each paper has a duration of 120 minutes. Qualifying the Kerala SET awards a lifetime eligibility certificate, which is an absolute prerequisite for applying to Higher Secondary School Teacher (HSST) and Non-Vocational Teacher (NVT) vacancies through the Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC).
