The wait for nursing aspirants in Madhya Pradesh is over. The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB) has officially released the Admit Card for the Pre Nursing Selection Test (PNST) 2026. Candidates who successfully registered between 09 June and 23 June 2026 can now download their hall tickets from the official portal. The computer-based entrance examination is scheduled to commence on 10 July 2026. This test serves as the sole gateway for admission to the prestigious 4-Year B.Sc Nursing programs across various government and private nursing colleges in the state. Eligible candidates were required to have passed their Class 12th (Intermediate) exam with the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) stream and English. The application fee was ₹460 for General/Other State candidates and ₹260 for MP Reserve category candidates (inclusive of portal charges).

Candidates applying for the MP PNST 2026 were required to meet strict eligibility parameters:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Intermediate Exam with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English as compulsory subjects. General and EWS candidates need a minimum aggregate of 45%, while SC, ST, and OBC candidates need 40%.
• Age Limit: The minimum age required is 17 Years as of 31st December of the admission year. There is generally no prescribed upper age limit as per INC guidelines, though candidates must read the official rulebook for specific state relaxations.
• Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit to pursue nursing education. A medical fitness certificate will be required at the time of admission.
• Domicile: Only candidates with a Madhya Pradesh domicile are eligible to claim category-based reservation benefits.

How to Download MP PNST Admit Card 2026 – Step by Step

1. Visit the Official Portal: Open the MPESB official website directly at esb.mp.gov.in.
2. Locate Admit Card Link: Under the "Latest Updates" or "Test Admit Card" section on the homepage, click on "Test Admit Card - Pre-Nursing Selection Test (PNST) - 2026".
3. Enter Specific Credentials: You will be directed to the login page. Enter your 13-digit Application Number and your Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY). Note: You must also enter the first 2 letters of your Mother's Name followed by the last 4 digits of your Aadhar Number (e.g., if Mother's name is SANGEETA and Aadhar ends in 1234, enter SA1234).
4. Verify Details: Resolve the simple math captcha and click 'Search'. Verify your exam center, shift timings, and reporting instructions carefully on the screen.
5. Print the Hall Ticket: Download the PDF and take a clear, preferably color, printout. Read all instructions printed on the admit card before heading to the exam center.

MP PNST 2026 – What Appearing Candidates Should Know

The MP PNST is an objective-type Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates will be tested on Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and General English. The question paper contains 150 questions in total, to be completed in 120 minutes (2 hours). The paper is primarily bilingual (Hindi and English), except for the English language section. There is no negative marking in the MPESB PNST exam, so candidates are highly encouraged to attempt all questions.

Candidates must carry their printed Test Admit Card along with an original Photo Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport). The Aadhar Card must be unlocked for biometric verification via UIDAI on the exam day. Electronic devices, calculators, and study materials are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

Following the examination, MPESB will release the provisional answer key, allowing candidates to file objections. The final result and merit list will determine the counselling order for admission managed by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh.
