Appearing candidates must retrieve their Phase I call letters securely from the IBPS-hosted RBI examination portal. Follow these exact steps:

1. Visit the Official Opportunities Portal: Open your browser and navigate to opportunities.rbi.org.in.
2. Locate the Call Letter Link: Click on the "Current Vacancies" tab, select "Call Letters", and open the link for "Admission Letters for Phase-I Examination for Officers in Grade B - 2026".
3. Enter Login Credentials: On the IBPS login screen, choose your language (English/Hindi) and input your Registration Number or Roll Number.
4. Enter Password/DOB: Provide your Password or Date of Birth (in DD-MM-YY format) and enter the displayed captcha code.
5. Download and Print: Submit the details to view your call letter. Download the PDF and print it on an A4 size paper to carry to the examination venue.

RBI Grade B 2026 – What Appearing Candidates Should Know

Officers selected under the RBI Grade B 2026 recruitment drive are placed in a highly lucrative pay scale starting at ₹55,200 per month (Scale: ₹55200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850(2)-86550-3300(4)-99750). Including Dearness Allowance, Local Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance, and Grade Allowance, the initial gross monthly emoluments amount to approximately ₹1,16,914. Additionally, candidates are entitled to perks like vehicle maintenance, newspaper, telephone charges, and comprehensive medical coverage.

The Phase I examination for the General stream is a 120-minute objective type test encompassing 200 marks. The paper tests four sections: General Awareness (80 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 marks), English Language (30 marks), and Reasoning (60 marks). Candidates must clear sectional cut-offs as well as the aggregate cut-off. There is a strict negative marking of 1/4th mark (0.25) for every incorrect answer.

Only a fraction of candidates will clear Phase I to qualify for the Phase II examination (scheduled for 25 July 2026).
