How to Download RRB ALP 2025 CBT 2 Admit Card & Exam City

The e-call letters are mandatory for entry into the CBT II examination hall. Follow these instructions to securely check your exam city slip and download the admit card.

1. Visit the Centralised Portal: Go directly to the official RRB login portal at rrb.digialm.com or access it via your specific regional RRB website.
2. Select the Candidate Login: Click on the link designated for "City Intimation Slip / E-Call Letter for CBT II (CEN 01/2025)".
3. Enter Your Credentials: Input your Registration Number and your Date of Birth as the password in DD-MM-YYYY format.
4. Check Intimation Slip: The screen will display your assigned Exam City, Date, and Shift. Note that this slip is solely for travel planning and cannot be used for exam entry.
5. Download E-Call Letter: Exactly 4 days before your specific exam date, log back into the same portal, click the "E-Call Letter" tab, and print your official admit card.

RRB ALP 2025 – What Appearing Candidates Should Know

Assistant Loco Pilots inducted under the CEN 01/2025 recruitment are placed in Pay Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix, with a starting basic pay of ₹19,900. However, the most lucrative component of an ALP's salary is the Kilometre Allowance (Running Allowance) paid per kilometer driven. Combined with standard Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and Night Duty Allowance, the gross initial monthly earnings often exceed ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 depending on the zones and running duties assigned.

The Stage II Computer Based Test (CBT II) is divided into two distinct parts. Part A (90 minutes, 100 questions) covers Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Basic Science & Engineering. The marks scored in Part A alone are used to determine the merit for shortlisting to the next stage. Part B (60 minutes, 75 questions) is a trade-specific qualifying test based on the DGET syllabus. A candidate must secure at least 35% in Part B to qualify, regardless of their category; otherwise, their Part A score will not be evaluated for merit. Both parts carry a negative marking penalty of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer.

Candidates who successfully clear CBT II will be shortlisted for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT / Psycho Test) at a ratio of 8 times the vacancy count. The CBAT evaluates concentration, reaction time, and decision-making skills. There is no negative marking in the CBAT. The final merit list will be formulated by giving a 70% weightage to the marks obtained in CBT II (Part A) and a 30% weightage to the CBAT score, followed by rigorous Document Verification and the strict A-1 medical examination.
