How to Download RRB Group D Exam City Slip & Admit Card 2026

The RRB follows a phased approach for releasing examination details to manage server load:

1. Exam City Intimation: Usually released 10 days before the exam phase begins. This slip informs you of your test city and date so you can make travel arrangements. This is not your admit card.
2. Admit Card Download: The actual e-Call letter will be available for download exactly 4 days before your specific exam date.

4. Login: Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth.

RRB Group D CEN 09/2025 – What Appearing Candidates Should Know

The Computer Based Test (CBT) is objective in nature and comprises 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. The syllabus covers General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness/Current Affairs. Accuracy is critical, as a standard negative marking of 1/3 mark is deducted for every incorrect response.

Candidates who clear the normalized cut-off marks in the CBT will be shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET criteria are stringent and candidates get only one chance:

• Male Candidates: Must lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting it down; AND run 1,000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
• Female Candidates: Must lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting it down; AND run 1,000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

Appointees joining under Level-1 posts will enter the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with a basic pay of ₹18,000 per month. Including standard allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and specifically Night Duty or Hardship Allowances (for roles like Track Maintainer), the initial gross monthly salary typically ranges between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000 depending on the posting location.
