The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has formally announced the Computer-Based Test (CBT) dates for the RRB Group D (Level-1) Recruitment 2026 under Centralised Employment Notice CEN 09/2025. As per the latest schedule, the single-stage CBT for filling 22,195 vacancies will be conducted across designated national centers from 03 August 2026 to 21 August 2026. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications earlier this year will be able to check their respective Exam City Intimation Slips starting from 25 July 2026, while the actual e-Call Letters (Admit Cards) will be available for download exactly four days prior to their specific exam date.

RRB Group D 2026 – Exam Shift Timings
Given the massive number of applicants, RRB will conduct the CBT securely across multiple days in three daily shifts. Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be mandatory at the centers before entry.

- Negative Marking: A strict penalty of 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

- Normalization: Since the exam spans multiple shifts, a statistical normalization process will be applied to the raw marks.

- Visit RRB Unified Portal: Open your web browser and navigate directly to the unified railway application portal at rrbapply.gov.in or your respective regional RRB website.
- Access Login Section: Click on the active link titled "City Intimation Slip / E-Call Letter for CEN 09/2025 (Level-1 Posts)".
- Enter Credentials: Input your system-generated Registration Number and your Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) as the password.
- View Details: Your candidate dashboard will load. Click to view your allocated Exam City, Date, and Shift. (For SC/ST candidates, the Free Travel Authority Pass will also be available here).
- Download Admit Card: Exactly 4 days before your allocated exam date, the 'Download E-Call Letter' button will activate. Save the PDF and print a clear physical copy for the exam day.
