The final selection phase for aspiring banking officers has arrived. State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the Interview Call Letters for the Circle Based Officers (CBO) 2026 recruitment drive (Advt. No. CRPD/ CBO/2025-26/18). Following the declaration of the written examination results on 30 June 2026, shortlisted candidates can now download their e-summon letters for the interview round, which is scheduled to commence on 13 July 2026. This recruitment aims to fill 2050 premium lateral-entry vacancies across various circles in India. General, OBC, and EWS candidates paid an application fee of ₹750, while SC, ST, and PH candidates were exempted.

- Access Login Page: Click on the link for "Download Interview Call Letter for Circle Based Officers".
- Enter Credentials: Input your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth along with the displayed captcha code.
- Verify Schedule: Once logged in, meticulously check your allotted interview venue, date, and reporting time.

SBI CBO 2026 – What Appearing Candidates Should Know
The final selection for the Circle Based Officer post is based on the performance in the Online Written Test and the Interview. The final merit list will be prepared by aggregating the marks of the written examination (out of 120 marks) and the interview (out of 50 marks). The weightage ratio of the Written Test to the Interview is 75:25.
Since the CBO role requires specific local language proficiency, candidates must produce their 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing that they have studied the opted local language. If unable to produce this, candidates will be subjected to a Local Language Test prior to the interview.
Mandatory Document Verification: On the day of the interview, candidates must carry:
- Printed Interview Call Letter.
- Valid original Photo ID (Aadhar, PAN, Passport, etc.) and a photocopy.
- Experience Certificate(s) establishing exactly 2 years of officer-level experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank/RRB.
- Relieving letter/NOC from the current employer (if applicable).
- All original academic mark sheets, degrees, and category certificates.
Appointed Circle Based Officers join at the Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). The starting basic pay is ₹36,000/- in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 plus one advance increment for each completed year of service (up to a maximum of 2 increments) rendered in the officer cadre in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or RRB.
