UPSSSC Stenographer 2023 – Skill Test Guidelines & Requirements
Candidates who have qualified for the Skill Test must prepare rigorously, as this stage is the definitive qualifying barrier for the Stenographer role. The skill test encompasses two primary components:
- Hindi Typing Test: Candidates must demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 25 Words Per Minute (WPM) in Hindi on a computer keyboard.
- Stenography Test: Candidates must exhibit a shorthand (steno) speed of 80 Words Per Minute (WPM) in Hindi.
Both tests are mandatory and qualifying in nature. Candidates failing to meet the minimum required speeds in either typing or stenography will be disqualified from the recruitment process, regardless of their scores in the main written examination.
