Candidates can accurately estimate their final NEET scores by cross-referencing their OMR responses with the official answer key using the NTA marking scheme.

NTA NEET UG 2026 – What Comes Next
Following the closure of the objection window, subject experts impaneled by the NTA will review all candidate challenges. If a challenge is found to be correct, the provisional answer key will be revised accordingly. The Final Answer Key will be published subsequently, and no further grievances will be entertained.
The final NTA NEET UG 2026 result will be compiled strictly based on this revised final answer key and is expected to be declared by July 2026. The result scorecard will feature the candidate's All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and percentile score. NTA's role concludes with the declaration of the result. Thereafter, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will utilize these scores to conduct centralized counselling for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while state authorities will conduct counselling for the remaining 85% state quota seats.
