RSSB Computer Instructor 2026 – Exam Pattern & Selection Process

The selection for both Basic and Senior Computer Instructors relies on a rigorous two-paper written examination. Candidates must secure a minimum qualifying mark of 40% in each paper independently to be considered for the merit list.

Paper I (Common for Both Posts): This paper assesses General Knowledge and Art & Culture of Rajasthan, along with General Ability (Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability, Data Interpretation, and Basic Numeracy). It consists of 100 questions for 100 marks, with a 2-hour duration.

Paper II (Subject Specific): This paper tests the core technical competency. For Basic Instructors, it covers Pedagogy, Fundamentals of Computer, Programming Fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms, Computer Organization, and Operating Systems. For Senior Instructors, the syllabus is similar but at a deeper, Master's degree difficulty level. It also consists of 100 questions for 100 marks over 2 hours.
