Candidates inducted as Vidhan Bhavan Guards or Firemen are placed in Pay Matrix Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100) under the 7th CPC. Considering applicable DA, HRA, and specialized Secretariat security allowances, the initial gross monthly salary ranges between ₹28,000 to ₹33,000. These personnel are permanently stationed at the Vidhan Bhavan (State Secretariat) in Lucknow, ensuring the security of the legislative premises.
The selection process involves three distinct phases:
- Phase 1: Shortlisting via PET 2025. The commission will establish a cut-off score based on the normalized PET 2025 marks. Only candidates scoring above this threshold will be permitted to pay the Mains fee and download the written exam admit card.
