MHA IB Security Assistant / Executive – What Qualified Candidates Should Know
Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the final merit list are provisionally selected for the post of Security Assistant/Executive in the Intelligence Bureau. The final appointment is strictly subject to successful completion of character and antecedent verification, medical examination, and verification of all original documents including educational certificates, category certificates, and the mandatory local language domicile certificate.
The Security Assistant / Executive role in IB is a General Central Service, (Group ‘C’) Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post. Selected candidates will be placed in the 7th CPC Pay Level-3 matrix (₹21,700 – ₹69,100). In addition to the basic pay, candidates are entitled to Central Government allowances including DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and a special Security Allowance equivalent to 20% of basic pay.
