How to Check NEET UG Round I Seat Allotment Result 2026

The MCC has published the provisional allotment result as a comprehensive PDF document. Candidates can check their allotment status by following these steps:

1. Visit the Official Link: Click on the direct "Round I Allotment Result" link provided in the Official Links section below.
2. Download the PDF: The link will open a PDF file containing the allotment details. Download this file to your device.
3. Search Your Rank/Roll Number: Open the PDF and use the search function (Ctrl+F on a computer, or the search icon on mobile) to look up your NEET All India Rank (AIR) or Roll Number.
4. Check Allotment Details: If you have been allotted a seat, the PDF will display your allotted quota, institute name, course (MBBS/BDS), allotted category, and candidate category.
5. Candidate Login: Additionally, log in to your candidate dashboard on the MCC portal to download your official Seat Allotment Letter.

Next Steps After Round 1 Seat Allotment

Once you have checked your provisional allotment, you must take the following actions based on your allocation status:

If You Are Allotted a Seat:

• Download Allotment Letter: Log into the MCC portal and download your official seat allotment letter.
• Report to the Institute: You must physically report to the allotted medical/dental college within the specified timeframe mentioned in the MCC schedule to complete admission formalities.
• Document Verification: Carry all original documents (NEET Admit Card, Result, 10th/12th marksheets, Category Certificate, ID proof, etc.) along with self-attested photocopies and passport-sized photographs for verification at the college.
• Upgradation: If you are satisfied with the seat, complete the admission. If you wish to upgrade your seat in Round 2, you must still report to the allotted college, complete the admission process, and express your willingness for upgradation.

If You Are NOT Allotted a Seat:

• Do not panic. You are automatically eligible to participate in Round 2 of the counselling process.
• Wait for the Round 2 schedule and ensure you participate in fresh choice filling/locking when the window opens.
