How to Download UP DELEd 2026 Rank Card & Participate in Counselling
Candidates can access their state rank and register for the counselling process by following these steps on the official portal:
- Visit Official Portal: Go to the official website of Examination Regulation Authority UP at updeled.gov.in.
- Check Rank Card: Click on the "Know Your Rank" link on the homepage. Enter your registration number and date of birth to view and download your rank card.
- Start Choice Filling: Access the online counselling module and log in using your credentials to begin the choice filling process between 11 and 13 August 2026.
- Select Institutions: Carefully select and lock your preferred District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) or private institutions based on your rank.
- Document Verification: Once an institute is allotted, report to the respective center with your original academic documents, ID proof, and allotment letter for final admission.

Admission to the UP DELEd (2 Year BTC) 2026 program is strictly merit-based, with no written entrance exam conducted this year. The Examination Regulation Authority determines the final merit based on the candidates' academic records (10th, 12th, and Graduation marks). Following the release of the Rank Card, qualified candidates must participate in the online choice filling process scheduled between 11 and 13 August 2026 to secure their preferred institutions.
