RSSB Computer Instructor 2026 – Important Dates & Schedule
The RSSB has strictly instructed candidates to adhere to the given examination timeline. The Board will NOT send any physical admit cards via post.

Detailed Exam Shift Timings & Exam Pattern
Both examinations (Basic and Senior) will consist of two separate papers conducted on the same day in two shifts. Each paper carries 100 marks and features 100 objective-type questions. A negative marking of 1/3rd applies for incorrect answers.

How to Download RSSB Computer Instructor Admit Card 2026
Downloading the hall ticket is a straightforward process. Candidates can use the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal or their SSO ID:
- Visit the Official Portal: Open recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in or log in directly via sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Click 'Get Admit Card': On the recruitment portal dashboard, look for the 'Get Admit Card' option on the top menu.
- Select the Exam: Click on the link for "Direct Recruitment of Basic / Senior Computer Instructor - 2026".
- Enter Credentials: Input your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the Captcha code shown on the screen.
- Download PDF: Click "Get Admit Card" to display your provisional e-admit card. Review all details (Name, Roll Number, Exam Center, Shift).
- Print Out: Download the file and take a clear, legible printout. Keep multiple copies safe for future recruitment stages.
Mandatory Documents & Reporting Time
You must carry the following items to the examination hall. Without these, entry will be denied:
- Provisional e-Admit Card: A clear printed copy of the hall ticket.
- Original Photo ID Proof: Your original Aadhaar Card (preferably with your complete Date of Birth). In special circumstances, a PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID may be considered. Photocopies are not allowed.
- Recent Passport-Size Photographs: Carry one recent (less than one-month-old) 2.5 cm × 2.5 cm color photograph for each shift (total 2 photos if appearing for both papers).
- Stationery: One transparent blue ink ballpoint pen for marking the OMR sheet.
RSSB Exam Day Dress Code & Prohibited Items
The RSSB enforces a strict dress code to prevent cheating. Adhere to the following guidelines:
Dress Code Guidelines
- Male Candidates: Should wear half or full-sleeve shirts, T-shirts, kurta-pyjamas, or plain trousers/pants. (Jeans are discouraged).
- Female Candidates: Can wear a salwar suit, chunni, saree, or half/full-sleeve shirt/kurta/blouse. Only simple rubber bands are permitted for tying hair; elaborate hairpins or clips are not allowed.
- Footwear: Only slippers, sandals, or low shoes/socks (up to ankle level) are permitted. Bulky shoes are banned.
- Religious Symbols: Sikh candidates are permitted to carry religious symbols (Kada, small covered Kirpan, Turban), but must arrive early for proper screening.
Prohibited Items
Do NOT carry any of the following items to the exam center, as storage facilities will not be provided:
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, or analog watches.
- Calculators, pendrives, or any electronic communication gadgets.
- Purses, bags, geometry boxes, water bottles, books, or notebooks.
- Metallic ornaments, thick bracelets, or heavy jewelry.
