BPSC TRE 4.0 2026 – OTR Registration Overview

BPSC TRE 3.0 (2024) had announced 87,774 teacher vacancies. TRE 4.0's requisitioned figure of 32,388 marks roughly a 63% drop in total posts compared to the previous phase — see the full four-cycle trend further down this page.
BPSC TRE 4.0 2026 – Should You Complete OTR Registration Now?
OTR is not an application for TRE 4.0 itself — it is a one-time profile that every BPSC exam form draws from. Completing it early does not commit you to anything and saves time once the TRE 4.0 form opens.
| Register for OTR now if… | You can wait if… |
|---|---|
| You already meet the age and qualification criteria for at least one TRE 4.0 post | You are still completing your D.El.Ed / B.Ed / degree and won't meet eligibility by the cut-off date |
| You have your Aadhaar, photo, and signature ready | You have never registered on any BPSC exam before and need time to gather documents |
| You plan to apply to any future BPSC exam, not just TRE 4.0 | You already completed BPSC OTR for an earlier exam (e.g. TRE 3.0, 71st CCE) — it does not need to be repeated |

- Click New User Registration: Select the One Time Registration (OTR) option on the homepage.

BPSC TRE 4.0 2026 – Document Readiness Checklist
Keep the following ready before starting OTR so the process is not interrupted midway:
- Aadhaar card (details must exactly match your other certificates)
- Recent passport-size photograph, scanned as per size/format specification
- Scanned signature
- Active, accessible personal email ID (not a cyber café's shared ID)
- Active mobile number for OTP
- Class 10 / 12 certificate for accurate name and date of birth entry
- DigiLocker account (optional — OTR can also be completed without it)
BPSC TRE 4.0 2026 – Common Mistakes That Cause Rejection
BPSC's own FAQ and application guidelines flag the following as the most common, avoidable errors during OTR and form-filling:
- Entering name, father's/mother's name, gender, Aadhaar, or date of birth incorrectly — BPSC provides no facility to correct these fields after OTR submission.
- Relying on cyber café operators to fill the form without personally verifying every entry before submission.
- Registering more than once — a candidate should hold only one BPSC OTR number for life.
- Using a shared or inactive email ID, which causes OTP and communication failures during registration.
- Assuming there will be a correction window or date extension — BPSC has explicitly stated there is generally no provision for correction or extension once the process closes.
