AP NEET UG 2026 – What Happens Next
Being on this qualified list does not by itself enrol you for counselling. NTRUHS will separately issue an admission notification and application schedule — only after you apply online and your documents are verified will your actual Final Merit Position be generated. Category-wise eligibility for BC, SC, and ST candidates will be checked against your community certificate, confirmed genuine by the respective Welfare Department. Separate final merit lists are also prepared later for PwBD and special categories — including Sports & Games, Scouts and Guides, NCC, CAP, Anglo-Indian, and Police Martyr Children quotas — but only after those candidates submit the relevant certificates for verification.
In practice, this means the sequence ahead is: admission notification release → online application → document verification → provisional merit list → final merit list → counselling and seat allotment (85% state quota) for MBBS and BDS seats in Andhra Pradesh's government, private, and management-quota medical colleges. Candidates should not wait for a personal notification — the university has said no correspondence will be entertained on this particular list, so tracking the official website yourself is the only reliable way to stay updated.
