Karnataka PGCET Result 2026 – Still Not Declared
Candidates who appeared for Karnataka PGCET 2026 (MBA, MCA, MTech) are still waiting for their result and rank. KEA briefly updated its website's meta description to reference a "final result link," but no result link has actually gone live, and the authority has given no confirmed date. This page tracks the wait against KEA's own past release history so you know what to realistically expect.

Karnataka PGCET Result – Past 5-Year Release Trend
KEA's gap between exam date and result date has swung anywhere from 35 to 59 days over the last five cycles — there's no fixed pattern, which is exactly why this year's wait is hard to predict with confidence.
| Session | Exam Date | Result Date | Gap (Days) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2021 | 14 Nov 2021 | 19 Dec 2021 | 35 |
| 2022 | 20 Nov 2022 | 29 Dec 2022 | 39 |
| 2023 | 24 Sep 2023 | 22 Nov 2023 | 59 |
| 2024 | 4 Aug 2024 (MBA) | 29 Sep 2024 | 56 |
| 2025 | 22 Jun 2025 | 7 Aug 2025 | 47 |
| 2026 | 14 Jun 2026 | Not yet announced | 50+ and counting |
At 50+ days and rising, this year has already exceeded four of the last five cycles' gaps, and is closing in on 2023's 59-day wait — the slowest on record. KEA itself has previously blamed delays in university semester results (Bangalore University, Tumkur University in this cycle) for holding things up, even though those semester results only come into play for breaking ties, not for calculating merit ranks directly. In 2024, a delayed MTech exam (18 September) was cited as the reason that year's MBA result also took 56 days — so a lagging MTech schedule appears to be a recurring cause of overall PGCET delays.

Karnataka PGCET – Marks vs Rank (Indicative)
This mapping is based on past-year patterns and is only indicative — your actual 2026 rank depends on that year's applicant pool and paper difficulty.
| Marks (out of 100) | Approximate Rank |
|---|---|
| 75 – 100 | 1 – 10 |
| 70 – 75 | 10 – 100 |
| 65 – 70 | 100 – 200 |
| 60 – 65 | 200 – 500 |
| 55 – 60 | 500 – 1,000 |
| 49 – 55 | 1,000 – 3,000 |
| 45 – 49 | 3,000 – 7,500 |
| 40 – 45 | 7,500 – 14,000 |
| 30 – 40 | 13,000 – 20,000 |
| Below 30 | 20,000+ |
| Below 20 | 30,000+ |
As a rough benchmark, 65–75+ marks has typically been competitive for top colleges, while 55–65 marks has been enough for admission at solid, though less sought-after, institutes.

What's on the Karnataka PGCET Scorecard
- Candidate's name
- PGCET registration number
- Candidate category
- Subject-wise marks and total score out of 100
- Overall state merit rank
- Programme applied for
Since the exam is held in a single shift, no score normalisation is applied — your rank is calculated directly from your raw marks. If two or more candidates tie on marks, KEA breaks the tie first by higher qualifying-degree percentage, then by age (older candidate ranked higher), and finally by a random draw if everything else is identical.
