The wait is over for thousands of medical and nursing aspirants. AIIMS, New Delhi, has officially announced the results for the BSc (Hons.) Nursing Entrance Examination 2026 today, 05 July 2026. The computer-based entrance test was conducted nationwide on 20 June 2026. The result has been published in the form of a consolidated Merit List PDF containing the Roll Numbers, Category, Overall Rank, and Percentile of the candidates who have successfully qualified for the 1st Round of Seat Allocation (Counselling). Candidates can now log into the official portal to download the merit list and check their individual scorecards.

Along with the result, AIIMS releases the category-wise cutoff ranks and percentiles required to be eligible for the counselling rounds. Only candidates scoring above these cutoffs are included in the official merit list.

How to Download AIIMS BSc Nursing Result & Merit List 2026

1. Visit the Official Website: Open your web browser and go to the official AIIMS examinations portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.
2. Navigate to Results: On the homepage, click on the "Results" tab located in the top navigation bar or the important announcements section.
3. Select the Academic Course: Click on "Academic Courses" and then find the link titled "Result of the AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Entrance Examination 2026".
4. Download the PDF: The merit list will open in a PDF format. This list contains the roll numbers of all candidates shortlisted for the first round of seat allocation.
5. Search Your Roll Number: Use the "Ctrl + F" function (or the search tool on your mobile PDF viewer) to search for your 7-digit exam Roll Number.
6. Download Individual Scorecard: To view your exact marks and percentile, go back to the homepage, click on "Academic Courses -> BSc (Hons) Nursing", log in with your Registration ID, RUC (Registration Unique Code), and Password, and download your scorecard.

What's Next? (Online Seat Allocation / Counselling Process)

Candidates whose roll numbers are present in the merit list must prepare for the Online Seat Allocation (Counselling) process. The counselling is conducted entirely online.

• Choice Filling: Eligible candidates will need to log into the portal and exercise their choices of AIIMS institutes (e.g., AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, etc.) in order of preference.
• Mock Round: A mock seat allocation round will be held first to give candidates an idea of the seat they might get based on their rank and choices. Candidates can edit their choices after the mock round.
• Document Verification: Seat allocation is strictly provisional. Candidates allocated a seat must report to their respective AIIMS with original documents (Admit Card, 10th & 12th Marksheets, Category Certificate, etc.) for verification and medical examination.
• OBC/EWS Certificate Validity: Ensure your OBC (NCL) or EWS certificate is valid and issued within the specific dates mentioned in the AIIMS prospectus. Invalid certificates will lead to the cancellation of category benefits, and the candidate will be treated as Unreserved (UR).
