HSSC Primary Teacher PRT 2024 – What Qualified Candidates Should Know
Candidates selected for the post of Primary Teacher (PRT) are placed in Pay Matrix Level-6 (7th CPC), which correlates to the pre-revised Pay Band-2 (₹9300–₹34800) with a Grade Pay of ₹4200. The basic pay starts at ₹35,400. Once standard allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) are added, the expected monthly in-hand salary is approximately ₹50,000 to ₹55,000.
Because this is a Group C post, the Haryana Government has abolished the interview process. Final selection is based solely on the written examination marks (95%) and Socio-Economic criteria marks (5%). The candidates whose roll numbers appear in the written result PDF must now appear for exhaustive Document Verification (DV) and biometric matching to authenticate their identity, HTET/STET validity, and socio-economic claims. During this phase, candidates carry a Provisional status.
