Navy INCET 01/2024 – What Selected Candidates Should Know
Selection via the INCET Reserve List is strictly provisional. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in these newly released lists will shortly receive call letters for Document Verification (DV). During DV, candidates must produce original copies of their educational certificates (10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, or Degree), caste/category certificates, and specific technical certifications (such as Fire Fighting course certificates or HMV Driving Licenses for Fire Engine Drivers). Any discrepancy will result in immediate cancellation of the nomination.
Following successful DV, candidates must undergo a stringent Medical Examination conducted by authorized Naval Medical Officers. Posts like Fireman and Fire Engine Driver have exceptionally strict physical and visual acuity standards.
Civilian employment within the Indian Navy offers highly stable and lucrative career paths under the 7th Central Pay Commission. While Tradesman Mates and MTS begin at Pay Level 1, technical supervisory roles like Chargeman are placed in Pay Level 6. Personnel also benefit from extensive allowances, including Dearness Allowance, HRA, Transport Allowance, and comprehensive medical facilities through the CGHS network.
