JSSC JECCE 2023 – What Selected Candidates Should Know
Candidates whose Roll Numbers appear in the combined merit list have been provisionally selected for the post of Excise Constable (Aabkari Sipahi) under the Excise and Prohibition Department of Jharkhand. The post carries a competitive salary in Pay Matrix Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200) as per the 7th CPC. After adding state-specific allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Medical Allowances, the initial in-hand salary is expected to be approximately ₹28,000 to ₹32,000 per month.
The final merit list was prepared strictly based on the normalized marks obtained in Papers II (Tribal/Regional Language) and III (General Knowledge) of the main written examination, provided the candidate qualified in Paper I (Language Knowledge) and had successfully cleared the preceding Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
The selection remains provisional. Selected candidates will soon be summoned by the Excise Department for a final round of Document Verification (DV) and a comprehensive Medical Examination. Candidates must present all original academic documents (10th marksheet/certificate), valid caste/category certificates, and local domicile certificates (for those claiming reservation benefits) in the format prescribed by JSSC.
