RBI Assistant 2026 – What Qualified Candidates Should Know
Congratulations to those who cleared the Prelims! Your immediate focus must shift to the Mains Examination on 07 June 2026. Unlike the Prelims, the Mains exam is comprehensive, consisting of 200 questions (200 marks) spread across five sections: Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness, and Test of Computer Knowledge. You will have a composite time of 135 minutes, with sectional time limits strictly enforced. Marks obtained in the Mains are crucial, as they form the sole basis of the final merit list.
Following the Mains, shortlisted candidates must pass the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
