The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially released the Interview Letters for the Sub Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander 2026 recruitment. Candidates who successfully cleared both the written examination (held on 05-06 April 2026) and the subsequent Physical Efficiency Test (PET) can now download their e-summon letters. The Personality and Viva-Voce tests are scheduled to be conducted at the RPSC headquarters from 08 July to 17 July 2026. This recruitment drive, initiated under Advt No. 05/2025, aims to fill over 896 premium police vacancies. General and other state candidates paid a ₹600 application fee, while reserved categories paid ₹400.

2. Access Interview Link: Click on the link designated for "Interview Letter for Sub Inspector Comb. Comp. Exam 2025-26".
3. Enter Login Credentials: Input your Roll Number, Date of Birth, and the required captcha code on the candidate login page.
4. Verify Schedule: Once logged in, your specific interview date, reporting time, and panel details will be displayed.
5. Print the Letter: Download the PDF and take multiple clear printouts. You must carry this letter along with all original documents to the RPSC office.

RPSC SI / Platoon Commander 2026 – What Appearing Candidates Should Know

The final selection for the post of Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander is determined by combining the marks secured in the written examination (400 marks) and the Interview/Personality Test (50 marks). The Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which candidates have already cleared, was strictly qualifying in nature; those marks are not added to the final merit list.

During the interview phase, the RPSC panel evaluates the candidate's general knowledge, situational awareness, decision-making capabilities under stress, and overall suitability for a command role in the state police force. Candidates must also undergo a stringent Document Verification (DV) process on the day of their interview. You are required to produce all original academic certificates, category proofs, Domicile certificates, and the Detailed Application Form (DAF).

Successful candidates appointed as Sub Inspectors or Platoon Commanders will be placed in Pay Matrix Level L-11 under the 7th CPC (Rajasthan Govt), carrying a Grade Pay of ₹4,200. Following the mandatory two-year probation period, the gross monthly salary, supplemented by DA, HRA, and specific police allowances, generally exceeds ₹55,000, making it a highly prestigious and sought-after position.
