Frequently asked questions
Straight answers from our editorial team — no padded content.
Where do the Apply buttons on this page go?
Every "Apply" or "View" button opens the official recruitment board's portal directly — for example ssc.gov.in for SSC posts, joinindiannavy.gov.in for Navy, or the relevant State PSC website. We do not host any application form and we do not charge candidates any fee at any stage.
What does the coloured bar on the left of each card mean?
Red means the last date is within 3 days — act immediately. Orange means 4–7 days. Amber means 8–14 days remain. Slate-blue means more than 14 days. Grey means the window is closed, but the card stays up because exam dates, admit cards, or results are still upcoming.
What does the progress bar inside each card show?
It shows how much of the total application window has passed, from the official start date to the last date. A nearly-full red bar means act now. The days-remaining count next to it is the number to track.
Are vacancy counts always accurate?
We publish the count from the official notification at time of listing. If a board revises it via corrigendum we update the page, but there is a small lag. Always cross-check the official PDF before submitting your form.
Can I apply for more than one Sarkari Naukri at the same time?
Yes. There is no rule against multiple applications as long as you meet the eligibility for each. The constraint is exam dates — if two exams fall on the same day you can appear at only one centre.
What is the usual age limit for government jobs in India?
Most Group B and C posts are 18–32 years (General) as on the notification's cutoff date. SC/ST get 5 years relaxation, OBC (NCL) get 3 years, PwBD get 10 years. UPSC CSE goes up to 32 (General), 35 (OBC), 37 (SC/ST). Always verify from the official notification.
How do I check my Sarkari result after the exam?
Results are published on the board's official website. Our Results page at examkhiladi.com/results lists every result notification with a direct link. You can also track specific exams in the Exam Tracker. Visit our Results page.

Never miss a Sarkari application deadline again
Our free Government Exam Tracker lets you follow any notification from this page — SSC CGL, RRB NTPC, UPSC CSE, IBPS PO, all State PSC — and track exam dates, admit cards, and Sarkari results in one place.
Our team monitors official boards — SSC, UPSC, RRB, IBPS, State PSCs, defence organisations, and others — and publishes each notification as soon as it is released. Dates, vacancy counts, and eligibility are copied from the official PDF. We do not predict or invent information. For Sarkari results, admit cards, answer keys, and exam syllabi, visit the respective pages.
